Saint Francis of Assisi was an Italian saint known as the Poverello (poor little man), yet he was rich in God’s graces. He was the first person to receive the stigmata (wounds of Christ) on his hands, as represented on these plush pillows. Saint Francis is loved throughout the world for spreading spiritual joy, as he followed most closely the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ.
